As a premier residential estate, Oakdale Heights' covenant has been designed to protect purchasers' investment in the area by ensuring a minimum standard is maintained in the design, construction and on-going maintenance of all dwellings within the estate.

In a snapshop this includes... Single family dwellings are to be a minimum gross floor area of 170sqm under roof (includes garages, patios and verandas) - with the exception of homes on Innes Drive, which must be a minimum of 200sqm. 

Dwellings are to be constructed of clay brick, clay block or rendered finish. Alternative materials may be considered by the developer based on technological innovation.

Garden/storage sheds and other outbuildings are to be constructed in brick, rendered block or colorbond and must be situated at the rear of the lot. Unpainted galvanised iron, zincalume finishes or similar are not permitted.

Driveways are to be constructed of either exposed aggregate, stamped or patterned concrete, brushed coloured concrete (incorporating a feature element) or pavers. Driveways must be constructed prior to occupation of the dwelling.

All turfing and landscaping (including footpaths) visible from the street must be fully completed prior to occupation of each dwelling.

The front yard is to have at least 15sqm of garden beds. In addition, homes on Innes Drive are to have automatic irrigation installed in the front yard & are to be landscaped to a professional standard.

Oakdale Heights recognises that new products are continually being developed. For this reason, alternative materials/designs may be approved by the developer based on technological innovation or architectural merit.
